Responsibilities:
- Collect historical spend data per category in consultation with OpCos' procurement, Budget Holders, and Finance functions. This includes assessing the forecasted launch of new products/services and adopting new technologies to consolidate demand in a group-wide Master Procurement Plan.
- Lead the Strategic Sourcing Category Execution and RFx process from preparation to execution, collaborating with Budget Holders and Finance.
- Enhance cost-saving opportunities by establishing long-term partnerships with strategic vendors and promoting vendor rationalization.
- Draft and negotiate commercial terms and contractual clauses to ensure compliance and clarity before vendor awards. This includes defining delivery dates, service levels, and legally enforceable scopes of work.
- Manage major bid tasks for Revenue Contracts to optimize the company's profitability against client discounts and ensure financial exposure is minimized.
- Oversee Transactional Procurement in accordance with strategic sourcing guidelines, facilitating timely purchase order issuance.
- Ensure consistent delivery against contract commitments, monitoring vendor performance and managing communications to address contractual deviations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field of Procurement/Supply Chain.
- 10-12 years of experience in procurement operations at a large multinational telecommunications or technology organization, with at least 4-6 years in a managerial or team lead position (preferably in Civil works/Construction, Mechanical & Electrical Projects, and Fixed Site Infrastructure).
