This position is focused on ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with IFRS and Group policies. The role involves extensive oversight of General Ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and leading essential closing activities at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end. You will coordinate various audits, both statutory and internal, while also ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with IFRS and Group policies
- Oversee General Ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and group audits
- Provide audit schedules and ensure timely closure of observations
- Implement audit recommendations and strengthen controls
- Review and file UAE VAT returns
- Ensure compliance with FTA regulations
- Manage VAT audits and tax queries
- Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements
- Review and coordinate preparation of Corporate Tax computations, tax provisions, and supporting schedules
- Support Corporate Tax audits, inquiries, and assessments by regulatory authorities
- Monitor internal controls and delegated authority compliance
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, HR, and corporate finance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting
- 5-7 years of experience
