The Interaction Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing the interaction design function within the Digital Design Studio. This role focuses on delivering intuitive, user-centered experiences across e&'s digital touchpoints. This position works cross-functionally with Product, Technology, and Digital Channel teams to ensure wireframes, flows, and design logic are aligned with user needs, accessibility standards, and digital design best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • UX Design Strategy & Execution:

    • Oversee the end-to-end interaction design process across platforms and products.
    • Utilize established UX frameworks (e.g., user journey mapping, service blueprints) to guide design decision-making and maintain consistency across products.
    • Lead UX research collaboration, translating insights into user flows, wireframes, and interaction models.
    • Champion usability best practices and ensure outputs meet accessibility standards.
    • Collaborate with Visual Design and Content teams for cohesive digital experiences.
  • Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor a team of interaction designers, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
    • Conduct design critiques, wireframe reviews, and usability evaluations.
    • Drive adoption of user-centered design methodologies and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Act as the bridge between Product, Technology, CX, and Digital Channels for UX design alignment.
    • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile rituals to drive design delivery.
    • Own UX intake and prioritization processes for interaction design-related requests.
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement:

    • Track UX performance through usability testing, engagement metrics, and user feedback.
    • Improve wireframe consistency, flow efficiency, and user satisfaction.
    • Promote accessibility and inclusive design principles.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years in UX design with 3+ years managing UX teams.
  • Strong expertise in Figma, user research collaboration, wireframe tools, accessibility, and agile UX delivery.
  • Experience with prototyping, testing frameworks, and analytics tools for UX performance.
