As a Managing Consultant – Data Security Architect, you will be responsible for managing all activities related to delivering engagements focusing on data protection, including cryptography. Your role will encompass various responsibilities, including:
- Consulting: Facilitate workshops, give presentations, produce high-quality deliverables, and manage large delivery engagements.
- Leadership: Support all aspects of the solution, consult colleagues and the technical team, manage client requirements, and link those requirements to IBM's solution.
- Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of data security with a strong understanding of cryptography, and create and deliver proposals related to data security and cryptography.
- Client Engagement: Understand clients' data security requirements, including their drivers, risk considerations, and compliance drivers. Provide visibility into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Solution Development: Assist client-facing colleagues with responding to requests for proposals and develop security design and implementation for data security and cryptography services in KSA and across MEA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering consulting and technical engagements to help clients transform their data security and cryptography domains in hybrid deployment models.
- Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and applying appropriate industry knowledge to develop a roadmap for achieving their goals.
- Contributing to offering development and establishing capability models for the core domain.
Preferred Education:
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- 8-10 years of overall experience in IT and Cyber Security, with at least 5 years in security consulting and/or architecture roles.
- Experience in international deployment roles, particularly in hybrid/multi-cloud security engagements, with readiness to travel 25-50%.
- Strong knowledge of industry compliance and security standards, including KSA NCA ECC, CSA CSM, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Proficiency in the design and architecture of encryption, key management, HSM, certificate, PKI, and secret management solutions.
- Experience in conducting configuration reviews and developing high-quality security project design documentation.
- Familiarity with data protection in cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cryptographic operations.
