Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Use basic testing tools to record, manage, and track testing progress and defects.
- Review application logs to trace end-to-end flow of API calls across distributed systems.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing as needed.
- Understand microservices architecture to navigate logs and validate service interactions.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure quality and traceability.
- Document test results, raise defects, and participate in defect triaging.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on manual testing experience.
- Proficiency in using basic testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
- Ability to read and analyze application logs (e.g., in ELK stack, CloudWatch, or similar).
- Understanding of microservices environments and distributed system behaviors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of APIs and their validation methods.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in large enterprise or financial domain environments.
- Exposure to test data management or test automation frameworks.
