Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and work related to plant topics
  • Achieve project deliverables considering scope, technical, schedule, cost, and quality constraints
  • Prepare business cases prior to project initiation
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement initiatives, and FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Follow change management procedures
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products
  • Create articles for new products in the ERP system at the plant level
  • Maintain master data, bill of materials, and routings in the ERP system, verifying calculations at the plant level
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Create and maintain layout plans
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support standardized work definition and workplace design considering MESH and LEAN requirements
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (greenfield and industrialization experience is advantageous)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position

Skills

  • Proficiency with CAD, MS Office, ERP systems (SAP), LEAN, and standardized work (with CI-tools knowledge)
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
  • Experience in digitalization and automation project management is a plus
  • Strong accountability, teamwork spirit, motivation, engagement, proactive outlook, excellent problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in written and oral English (German is a plus)
