MCC Duty Engineer

The MCC Duty Engineer coordinates the daily operations and ADHOC troubleshooting to return the aircraft to service safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

• Overall coordination of technical issues/problems received by phone or radio call.
• Guiding and supporting line maintenance staff to ensure a safe and serviceable fleet is maintained on time.
• Monitoring VHF calls to ensure timely and quality communication with crews.
• Reviewing appropriate MEL references and issuing MEL control numbers to line engineers.
• Providing ADHOC troubleshooting support to Line engineers and flight crews.
• Monitoring OEM health monitoring tools to proactively identify potential system failures and generating AMOS Work Orders for troubleshooting.
• Contacting maintenance providers for one-off approvals for aircraft certification when necessary and maintaining the "One off Approval" file with up-to-date documents.
• Ensuring all work performed complies with the company's processes and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma required; a university or Technical degree in Aircraft Maintenance or a similar Engineering field is preferred.
• Certifications: ICAO TYPE II License or equivalent and at least 2 company aircraft type courses.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of aircraft certifying experience with at least 2 years in a maintenance control environment using aircraft health monitoring tools.
• Skills: Excellent communication and computer skills.

Proficiency in English is required.
