About the Job:
The MCC Duty Engineer coordinates the daily operations and ADHOC troubleshooting to return the aircraft to service safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include providing reports on the daily operation, delays, fleet status (including IFE/Connectivity), and Delay/Event reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform overall coordination of technical issues/problems received by phone call or radio call.
  • Guide and support line maintenance staff to assure efficient actions for a safe and serviceable fleet on time.
  • Monitor VHF calls and ensure timely and quality communication with crews.
  • Review appropriate MEL references and issue MEL control numbers to line engineers.
  • Provide ADHOC troubleshooting support to Line engineers and flight crews.
  • Monitor OEM health monitoring tools to proactively identify potential system failures and generate AMOS Work Orders for troubleshooting.
  • Contact maintenance providers and apply for one-off approvals for aircraft certification when needed, ensuring that all approval documents are current and maintained.
  • Ensure all work performed adheres to the company's processes and procedures, maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; a university or technical degree in Aircraft Maintenance or a similar Engineering field preferred.
  • ICAO TYPE II License or equivalent with at least two company aircraft type courses required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of aircraft certifying experience, including at least 2 years in a maintenance control environment using aircraft health monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills required.
