About the Role
The MD530 Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities are performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with aviation standards. This role directly influences aircraft readiness, safety, and mission capability for the customer across diverse maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and random inspections to ensure maintenance work meets aviation standards, technical publications, and safety requirements.
  • Review maintenance performed across all disciplines—including Powertrain, Engines, Avionics, Electrical, Sheet Metal, Welding, Armament, Corrosion Control, Tool Control, and more—to confirm accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct 100% inspections, monthly inspections, and observation-based quality checks.
  • Verify aircraft logbooks, records, and readiness data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify maintenance discrepancies and issue corrective actions.
  • Track and validate corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Classify findings by severity (major, minor, or observation) and support root-cause analysis when needed.
  • Review readiness and maintenance program records (Tool Control, Corrosion, TMDE, Oil Analysis, etc.) to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and corrective action documentation.
  • Monitor maintenance records, component tracking, and supply documentation to ensure accuracy and proper routing.
  • Verify that on-the-job training (OJT) for maintainers is properly executed and documented. Collaborate with Production Control, Technical Supply, and Maintenance leadership to resolve quality issues.
  • Coordinate with the Government Flight Representative on maintenance test flight documentation requirements.
  • Provide guidance to maintenance teams to promote continuous improvement and reduce rework.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education / Certifications:

  • Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree accepted as equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment in Saudi Arabia, all candidates must successfully complete the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program (QVP) to ensure eligibility for visa processing and employment authorization.

Certification:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

Experience:

  • 5+ years of helicopter/rotary-wing maintenance experience, specifically with MD530
  • 2+ years in a Quality Control, Technical Inspector, or similar inspection role
  • Strong ability to interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation
  • Ability to produce inspection reports and corrective action documents independently
  • Must meet physical, deployment, and travel requirements for work in KSA FAA
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

Desired Experience:

  • Experience on AH-64, UH-60, MD-530F, or AH-6i aircraft
  • Experience supporting maintenance test flight documentation requirements
  • Experience with aircraft readiness reporting
