About the Role
The MEA Technology Head of Applications Engineering is a senior technology leadership role reporting to the MEA CIO. In this position, you will establish engineering excellence across the organization by:

• Maintaining the application portfolio
• Driving the adoption of DevSecOps
• Developing engineering talent
• Partnering with Business Owners, Agile Product Owners, Enterprise and Systems Architects, Legal and Compliance teams, and Release Train Engineers to accelerate value delivered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of engineering excellence are maintained throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align engineering practices with business goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in application development processes and practices.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, enhancing team capabilities and performance.
• Lead initiatives to implement and optimize DevSecOps methodologies within the engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technology leadership role, preferably in applications engineering or related fields.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
• A strategic thinker with a track record of driving change and delivering value through technology.

Contract and Travel Details

• This is a full-time position.
