In the Solution Engineering team, we are looking for passionate, experienced, and credible leaders who will follow the model, coach, care approach to developing and winning team sales strategy that will deliver on the Cloud and AI transformation ambitions and unlock new business opportunities in the Major Growth segment. As a Solution Engineering Manager in the Majors Growth segment, you will lead a high-performing team of Solution Engineers (SEs) to drive AI transformation, accelerate core business growth, and deliver technical excellence across strategic accounts. You will coach and empower your team to win technical decisions, deliver compelling customer experiences, and execute with operational rigor. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping Microsoft’s AI and cloud adoption strategy in the enterprise space.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop talent by attracting, retaining, and growing a high-performing team by modeling, coaching, and caring—fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and excellence.
- Coach Solution Engineers to lead consultative AI engagements, deliver compelling demos and envisioning sessions, and secure technical wins with a focus on driving AI transformation and broader solutions.
- Accelerate core business growth by empowering your team to deliver industry-aligned solutions, displace competitors, and drive pipeline growth, win rates, and customer retention.
- Ensure operational excellence by overseeing disciplined sales execution through MSX rigor, partner co-sell integration, and seamless handoffs to deployment and adoption teams.
- Maximize technical influence by enabling Solution Engineers to influence customer decisions by streamlining processes, aligning goals across solution areas, and facilitating cross-workload collaboration.
- Scale through ecosystem partnerships by coaching the team to expand partner engagement, identify capability gaps, and collaborate across Microsoft to resolve blockers and amplify impact.
- Champion learning and thought leadership by driving team skilling, certification completion, and peer knowledge sharing while mentoring SEs to connect Microsoft solutions to customer business outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
- 8+ years of technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- 3+ years of people management experience (including leading virtual teams).
