Key Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary FP&A contact for peers in the MENA, Türkiye, and South Africa finance and business teams.
  • Conduct financial modeling, provide analytical support, and validate financial and operational results for the Consumer business.
  • Ensure the adherence to high financial controls while maintaining data integrity.
  • Lead month-end close activities and planning cycles, taking holistic ownership of the P&L and balance sheet.
  • Oversee the controllership of MENA/Türkiye/South Africa Stores financials, understanding actuals, challenging variances, and tracking action plans to achieve financial results when necessary and possible.
  • Act as an active business partner driving actuals variances analysis alongside other finance teams, including Stores Finance, Operations, Payments, Customer Service, Prime, and Marketing.
  • Drive an AI-based roadmap to facilitate automation and simplify processes.
  • Orchestrate the planning processes end-to-end, aligning assumptions, calendar deliverables, system load, and data integrity checks.
  • Provide accurate and insightful financial reports.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize global standards and transfer repetitive tasks to global teams.
  • Promote the development of financial skills across the organization.
  • Cultivate talent both inside and outside the Finance team.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and actionable recommendations that have demonstrated an impact on the business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits).
  • Over 5 years of experience in creating financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  • At least 5 years of experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, diagnosing root causes, and creating/implementing escalation plans.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and various financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
  • At least 3 years of experience collaborating with senior staff (e.g., c-suite).
  • Over 5 years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
