Mechanical Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Energy industry. This role is crucial for managing the operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems within the Primary Nursery Facility at NEOM. The focus will be on ensuring reliability, safety, and performance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, hydraulics, and vertical transportation systems, in alignment with project standards and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior MEP Engineer in managing mechanical systems operations.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities.
• Assist in preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance planning.
• Monitor spare parts usage for mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance measures.
• Contribute to asset condition assessments and project commissioning.
• Drive continuous service improvements for operational excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical design principles, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards.
• Proficient in SAP & MAXIMO systems as monitoring and tracking tools.
