- Solve complex system-level product or multi-variable issues related to E-Motor assemblies using standard problem-solving techniques.
- Own the root cause analysis (RCA) of End-Of-Line (EOL) failures at the Dynamometer, collaborating with cross-functional teams to conduct systematic data analyses to identify the source of issues.
- Maintain a strong understanding of engineering requirements behind test specification acceptance criteria and contribute to the development of production EOL Dyno test specifications.
- Partner with the DU test & validation team to correlate production dyno data with engineering validation data.
- Champion the resolution of recurring production EOL Dyno failures, investigating any gaps in validation coverage with the DU test & validation, NVH Teams, etc.
- Support the development of improved screening methodologies based on learnings from field and validation testing.
- Empower Manufacturing & Test engineers by providing expertise to triage failures from the Dynamometer to sustain operations.
- Establish design intent assembly requirements for E-Motor assembly, Dyno test specifications, and enforce compliance on the production line, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Support new product launches and execute part concession deviations for E-Motor & Inverter assemblies in the manufacturing plant while ensuring that the product's design intent is upheld.
- Assist with high volume production ramp activities related to product engineering.
- Advise on build process development and identify possible improvements for high volume production lines to ensure process variation remains within acceptable tolerance limits of design intent.
