Position

We are looking for a MENA Ads Growth Strategy Lead (Contract) to join Snap Inc. for a 6-month engagement. This role will focus on driving advertiser growth in the MENA region by shaping business development strategies, enabling sales teams, and executing go-to-market programs that deliver meaningful results for small and medium advertisers. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in developing growth strategies, localizing global narratives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch scalable programs. They will thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and regional expertise in digital advertising. The role will drive strategic go-to-market roadmaps, with clear resourcing and support from a wide array of cross-functional groups (Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, Advertiser Support, and Data Science).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the MENA BD team to define quarterly growth priorities, address client needs, and identify market opportunities.
  • Drive advertiser acquisition, activation, and retention strategies for both new and existing clients.
  • Develop localized BD and sales enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, case studies, playbooks) in collaboration with the Content team.
  • Adapt global growth strategies into MENA-specific narratives for prospects and clients.
  • Plan and execute offline and online events (e.g., seasonal activations, vertical workshops, deep-dives) to engage BD prospects and clients.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and BD teams to maximize impact during key seasonal moments (e.g., Ramadan, Back to School).
  • Manage partnerships with regional stakeholders to design and launch joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support affiliate marketing programs to scale acquisition among small and medium advertisers.
  • Serve as a bridge between MENA BD teams and global cross-functional stakeholders to ensure local priorities are represented.
  • Streamline execution with global teams by managing requests, driving alignment, and ensuring timely delivery.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience developing, growing, and sun-setting growth programs, especially into SMB or high-growth consumer areas.
  • Proven track record in driving programs that are multi-geography and complex in nature.
  • High comfort with and passion for data-driven decision making.
  • Experience simplifying complexity and effectively communicating with business and technical executives, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Experience or familiarity in working with the media or digital advertising industry.
  • Ability to influence and drive change among partner teams and leadership, in service of building new approaches and shifting the daily behaviors of a team.
  • Proficiency in presentation skills and comfort presenting to and communicating with senior leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to launch new programs and drive results in a rigorous KPI-driven setting.
  • Proven track record in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and driving strategies that are data-driven and people-informed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 8+ years experience in growth, consulting, corporate strategy, or marketing.
  • Arabic is a must given the Arabic content the talent would be working with throughout the region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience launching, maintaining, and sun-setting scaled growth initiatives.
  • Passion for structured problem solving, developing/testing hypotheses, and modeling.
  • Passion for change, Snapchat, and creativity!
