We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join a major, technically complex development as it transitions into the delivery phase. This role will be part of an integrated PMC team and will involve managing the on-site delivery of MEP works, ensuring effective coordination, quality execution, and alignment with programme, cost, and safety objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the delivery of all MEP construction activities.
- Act as the key interface between contractors, consultants, and the PMC team on all MEP-related matters.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with designs, specifications, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate MEP works across disciplines for effective integration with civil, structural, architectural, and specialist systems.
- Review and validate MEP shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Support the transition from design into construction.
- Identify and manage risks related to MEP delivery.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across all MEP activities on site.
- Contribute to project reporting, including progress updates and key risks.
- Support commercial activities related to MEP packages.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience as an MEP Manager on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in PMC/consultancy or contractor environments on MEP-intensive developments.
- Strong understanding of MEP construction, coordination, and installation processes.
- Experience transitioning projects from design into construction/delivery phases.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning processes for complex MEP systems.
- Familiarity with international standards and codes; Middle East experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
