Microsoft 365 Engineer

Our client is a subsidiary of a holding company established in 2008 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, operating across various sectors including real estate, education, hospitality, facilities management, and landscaping.

The M365 Engineer will be a key member of the company’s IT department, providing advanced-level support, troubleshooting, and administration of the Microsoft 365 environment. Responsibilities include managing complex technical issues, designing and implementing solutions for optimal performance, and leading escalations from lower tiers of support. Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Auto Pilot, Microsoft Purview, and Power Platform is required, focusing on compliance and automation. The candidate is expected to work collaboratively and independently, possessing a positive attitude towards business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s Microsoft 365 tenant and provide day-to-day administration and support.
• Oversee services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Defender, and Entra Identity.
• Administer identity management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged identity management (PIM).
• Support end-user access and email issues and manage Microsoft Teams configuration and compliance.
• Enforce security features across Microsoft 365, including MFA and Conditional Access.
• Manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management, including mobile device management (MDM) policies.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell scripts and maintain awareness of platform updates.
• Assess and implement new Microsoft 365 capabilities and execute migrations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any computer stream.
• Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) experience is required.
• Minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience.
