Microsoft 365 Engineer

About the Job:

Our client, a well-established organization based in Abu Dhabi since 2008, operates across multiple sectors including real estate, education, hospitality, facilities management, and landscaping. They are seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to join their IT department.

The M365 Engineer will provide advanced-level support, troubleshooting, and administration of the Microsoft 365 environment. The role involves handling complex technical issues, designing and implementing solutions for optimal performance, and leading escalations from lower tiers of support. A deep expertise in Microsoft 365 services is required, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Auto Pilot, Microsoft Purview, and Power Platform, with a focus on compliance and automation. Candidates are expected to have a positive attitude towards business problems and should be able to work both as part of a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant and administer day-to-day operations.
• Support and resolve end-user email and access issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
• Administer Microsoft Teams for proper configuration and compliance.
• Maintain security features across Microsoft 365, including Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell scripts and evaluate Microsoft 365 capabilities for enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (3-4 years).
• Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102) certification is required.
• At least 6-7 years of relevant experience in related roles.
