Position

As a Consulting Solution Area Specialist (Specialist Seller for Azure), you will have the opportunity to accelerate your career growth and expand your solution area expertise by driving digital technology transformation deals in partnership with our Enterprise customers to achieve Microsoft and customer business outcomes. You will lead the consulting sales pursuit team for Azure solution opportunities, leveraging the larger, multi-functional Industry Solutions Organization across the breadth of the Microsoft Azure solutions and Industry portfolio. This role will also provide an opportunity to build and maintain relationships with customers, influence their cloud strategy, and act as a trusted advisor driving engagement at the CXO level with business and technology decision makers.

Responsibilities

  • Role modelling and demonstrating customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise.
  • Create “buy-in” vision with key decision makers by building executive relationships to generate excitement around Microsoft Industry Solutions’ value to influence the cloud strategic direction.
  • Build business cases and lead deals requiring orchestration of virtual teams to construct customer proposals.
  • Provide an impactful point of view (POV) to accelerate consumption, aligned to solution area expertise into account planning cycles.
  • Work seamlessly with the wider account team to strengthen relationships across Microsoft teams and drive consumption through Microsoft Industry Solutions projects and programs.
  • Champion and adhere to Microsoft processes and methodologies, on strategy selling, pipeline hygiene, and opportunity ownership.
  • Continuously build sales expertise, learning and evolving industry and solution knowledge to support customers and investing in personal development.

Qualifications

  • Experience in solution sales with expertise in Data & AI, Cloud Applications, and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, or other public cloud platforms including IaaS and PaaS technologies.
  • Solution/portfolio management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Industry sales experience in the Enterprise public sector and commercial customers in KSA is preferred.
  • Deep acumen of consulting and advisory sales methodologies.
