Position

Responsible for managing a new team initially consisting of eight sales professionals based in Riyadh & Cairo. The team will be focused on driving on-time operational services support renewals, improving customer net dollar retention, and building strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and increasing market share. Works strategically with customers and/or strategic partners within a defined account assignment or territory. Manages the performance of individual contributors and the overall team and grows and develops talent within the organization.

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team initially consisting of 7 DSRs, who will lead defined territories of named accounts focusing on installed base renewals, Operational Services new business growth, and Day One contracts.
  • Deliver budget, team forecasting and ensure high levels of team sales hygiene via SFDC.
  • Direct daily work activities/priorities, people recruitment and development, cost management, and direction-setting within the area of responsibility.
  • Coaches and mentors employee direct reports, and may coach and mentor non-direct reports as needed.
  • Manages team and individual performance, advising management and peers on matters of importance to area(s) of responsibility.
  • Proposes/influences direction-setting and assigns responsibilities.
  • Creates a working environment conducive to individual growth and high performance.
  • Establishes and manages relationships with customer subject matter experts and appropriate customer management, with the objective of maintaining and building the business.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • May hold a Master’s or advanced degree in a related field. Typically 8+ years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Leadership and workforce management/development.
  • Customer relationship-building and escalation management.
  • Knowledge of corporate capabilities and outsourcing industry norms.
  • Business analysis and planning, general financial management/cost management.
  • General project management, in-depth understanding of Operational Services and related technologies.
