Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or related field
  • Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
  • Hands-on with RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API gateways
  • Familiar with Kafka, RabbitMQ, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT)
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong experience in Fiorano Installation, Development and Configuration
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Implement API gateways via low-code/no-code integration platforms to manage traffic, enhance security, and enable monitoring.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs with comprehensive documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI standards.
  • Integrate APIs with third-party platforms, internal systems, and legacy core banking applications.
  • Collaborate with application teams to gather API specifications, perform analysis, and execute field mapping between applications and middleware APIs.
  • Utilize messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ to support event-driven architecture and system integrations.
  • Coordinate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Enforce security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and standardized API authentication mechanisms.
  • Operate in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout development cycles.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance using tools like the ELK Stack and Grafana.
