Middleware Support Engineer

About the Job:
To strengthen its IT Integrations team, our client is looking for a Middleware Support Engineer with 3-6 years of experience. The team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and ensuring the operational viability of the client’s IT integration system, within the context of a major migration and growth in integration flows.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operational support for integration flows (monitoring, incident resolution, maintenance)
• Participation in deployment projects and knowledge transfer
• Junior-level development on Apache Camel
• Automation of maintenance and alerts
• Maintenance of flow configurations

Desired Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT development and operations

Required Technical Skills:

• Integration: Apache Camel, Java, Spring Boot, API portal (Apigee)
• Data exchange: PubSub, JMS, API
• DevOps: GitLab, Maven, Docker, scripting
• Databases: PostgreSQL (SQL)

Appreciated Basic Knowledge:

• Google Cloud Platform, GKE
• Linux, Windows, support tools, networks, security (AD, certificates)

Language Requirements:

• Fluent English + French or Dutch mandatory

Additional Skills:

• Good team spirit, autonomy, analytical and solution-oriented mindset
