Mid/Senior Backend Engineer

As a part of the Technology team, the Mid/Senior Backend Engineer will contribute to building and enhancing systems that power the company's innovative app and deliver a significant impact to millions of users. The team emphasizes clean and maintainable code while utilizing Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Build mobile APIs and develop microservices to enhance system architecture.
• Improve critical systems like risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
• Engage in greenfield development and improve existing systems.

Requirements:

• Fluency with Java.
• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
• Strong learning capability with an ambitious and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in Kotlin or Scala.
• Background in finance.
• Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
• Familiarity with product-focused development.
