Position

The company Cloud and Network Services, IP Telephony Applications R&D team is seeking a highly motivated SBC engineer to address the growing business needs of the company Session Border Controller (SBC) products. The SBC offers service providers economical and reliable means to secure and control media and signaling streams. The company SBC functions within Containerized Network Function (CNF) platforms, strategically positioned at the edge of access networks. Its role includes securing diverse IP accesses and facilitating the delivery of all IMS services, support for roaming, IMS interconnection, and corporate SIP trunking scenarios within peering networks.

Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Integration, functional, and system testing
  • Lab reconfiguration and provisioning
  • Problem troubleshooting and defect management
  • Developing and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test strategies, test scripts)

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience in software testing (minimum 5 years)
  • Good analytical skills, especially in system robustness verification and validation
  • Knowledge of IP networking (protocols, architecture)
  • Familiarity with Linux environment (fluent in terminal mode operations)
  • Understanding of virtualization and cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and Kubernetes
  • Experience with testing automation processes and tools (e.g., Robot Framework)
  • Fluency in agile software testing processes, practices, and tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Quality-first mindset, well-organized, prompt in tasks, and pride in work
  • English: Communicative level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud runtime environments (e.g., OpenStack, OpenShift)
  • Telecom knowledge, especially concerning IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and telecom protocols (e.g., SIP)
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
  • Coding skills (e.g., Python) are highly appreciated
