Mindgate Engineer (Java Implementation)

Synechron is seeking a Mindgate Engineer (Java Implementation) with 4-5 years of experience to support the implementation and optimization of Mindgate Solutions' digital payment platforms. This role will focus on Java-based development for core banking and payment systems, ensuring seamless integration and high-performance transaction processing.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based solutions using Mindgate frameworks for payment gateways and banking modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mindgate with client core systems (e.g., Spring Boot, Microservices).
• Troubleshoot and optimize code for scalability, security, and compliance with UAE banking regulations.
• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and deployment support in Agile environments.
• Document implementations and provide L2/L3 support for production issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Java development, with 2+ years in Mindgate Solutions (payment/digital banking implementations).
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Git.
• Experience in the banking/payments domain (e.g., ISO 8583, PCI-DSS compliance).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
