We are hiring an MLOps Field Engineer to assist global companies in implementing AI/ML solutions using the latest open-source capabilities on both public and private cloud infrastructures, including Linux and Kubernetes. The role focuses on applying expert insights to customer problems, enabling the enterprise adoption of technologies like Ubuntu, Kubeflow, MLFlow, Feast, and DVC.
Candidates should possess a technical background and be business-minded, concentrating on commercial success. The MLOps Field Engineer will engage in customer conversations, provide architectural solutions, and deliver presentations and training. This role is particularly suited for individuals interested in solving complex challenges in modern data architecture.
Responsibilities Include:
- Designing cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, and Spark.
- Delivering solutions both on-premise and in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Collecting customer business requirements to advise on Ubuntu and related open source applications.
- Collaborating with sales teams to achieve common targets and grow a healthy engineering culture.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional academic record in a technical field or a compelling narrative for an alternative path.
- Experience in data engineering, MLOps, or big data solutions deployment.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Rust; intermediate Python skills preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred) and related environments.
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
- Confidence to discuss and exchange feedback with diverse teams.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30% for events and customer meetings.
