This position reports to the Senior Product Manager and is responsible for the development of an airline mobile app that drives key digital KPIs. This is a crucial product area within the organization’s digital space and serves as the primary customer-facing digital landscape.

The Business Analyst will collaborate with the Digital and Ecommerce team to gather business priorities as requirements and ensure successful implementation. The role involves serving as a customer proxy, driving the scrum team, and ensuring the growth of airline mobile capabilities across the customer journey.

As part of an Agile Release Train, this role requires strong collaboration with other Product Owners, managing dependencies, and contributing to a cooperative development environment to ensure features are rolled out end to end.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Senior Product Manager to define product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
  • Managing the team backlog during Iteration Planning.
  • Ensuring the scrum team understands features and functionalities for each iteration.
  • Detailing features and user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and conducting regular demos.
  • Facilitating iteration retrospectives and driving discussions to improve velocity and quality.

Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in product development or as a Product Owner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Certification in SAFe Product Owner or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, and Lean Portfolio Management.
  • Proficient with Adobe Experience Manager and JIRA.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and drive feature development.
