Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain features in Flutter/Dart according to agreed architecture and coding standards.
- Build field-ready functionalities such as offline data capture, photo capture and annotation, QR/barcode scanning, forms and checklists, and location tagging.
- Implement polished, responsive UI for the customer-facing B2C app using Figma designs, with a strong focus on performance and usability.
- Integrate applications with backend services, including Salesforce, custom REST APIs (.NET/Node), Firebase (Auth, Firestore, FCM, Crashlytics), and third-party partner APIs.
- Handle local storage and data synchronization, incorporating error handling and retry logic for poor connectivity on-site.
- Write unit and widget tests, fix bugs, and actively participate in code reviews.
- Support app releases to the App Store and Google Play, involving builds, testing, and writing release notes.
- Investigate crash reports and user feedback to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with QA, Operations, and Customer Service teams to understand workflows and translate them into functional features.
- Provide accurate estimates for tasks and participate in sprint planning and stand-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of mobile development experience, including at least 2 years of experience building production apps in Flutter.
- At least 1 published app live on the App Store and/or Google Play (links required).
- Good working knowledge of Dart, Flutter widgets, and layouts, as well as at least one state management approach (Bloc, Riverpod, or Provider).
- Experience consuming REST APIs, handling JSON, and implementing authentication methods (token-based/OAuth).
- Hands-on experience with Firebase services, particularly push notifications and crash reporting.
- Familiarity with local storage technologies (Hive, Isar, SQLite/Drift, or Shared Preferences).
- Comfortable with Git, pull requests, and branching workflows.
- Basic understanding of the iOS and Android build and release processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication in English.
