Mobile Application Developer

The company is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join our front-end development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React Native concepts and workflows. A strong blend of Javascript and native platform skills is essential. The role entails working on the front-end of the app and requires knowledge of API services, cross-platform compatibility, and the infrastructure necessary for integration. Responsibilities also include profiling and improving front-end performance, documentation of the codebase, and a solid understanding of progressive web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the company’s mobile app for iOS and Android platforms using React/React Native with clean code.
• Implement pixel-perfect UIs and components that adhere to agreed designs.
• Integrate the mobile app with third-party or in-house APIs.
• Write automated tests to ensure error-free code, performance stability, and security.
• Implement clean, modern animations and transitions for an excellent user experience.
• Create front-end modules with maximum code reusability and efficiency.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure seamless performance.
• Release and update app versions to the stores.
• Participate in regular team sprints and stand-ups.
• Collaborate with internal mobile development team members and other Tech and Product teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development, demonstrated through working on scalable mobile applications.
• Proficiency in ReactJS and React Native, with knowledge of tools and workflows such as Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, Flux, and Babel.
• Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON web token.
• Strong skills in working with third-party dependencies, performance testing, and debugging.
• Excellent troubleshooting and project management skills.
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience and interest in the FinTech space; having worked with a FinTech company is a significant advantage.
• A good understanding of accounting and expense management systems.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Teams, Asana, and Trello.
