Responsibilities:
- Architect and design high-performing mobile applications leveraging technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, and React Native (iOS & Android).
- Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to define application requirements and user experiences.
- Establish best practices for mobile development, including coding standards, performance optimization, and testing methodologies.
- Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the mobile development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile trends, tools, and technologies to ensure Cognizant remains at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Deep expertise in iOS and Android application architecture, including proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, and cross-platform frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.
- Strong understanding of mobile application performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mobile application security best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies.
- Previous experience in leading mobile development teams.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies:
- Proficient in Swift, Kotlin, and React Native for mobile application development.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Firebase for mobile backend solutions.
- Strong knowledge of mobile design patterns and architectures (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
- Familiarity with tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and version control systems (Git).
