The ideal candidate will be a quality-focused professional who can work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and enable reliable, scalable, and frequent mobile releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI testing frameworks for native Android and iOS applications.
- Develop robust and scalable automated test suites using Espresso for Android and XCUITest for iOS.
- Establish automation best practices, standards, and test design patterns.
- Implement and maintain Snapshot Testing.
- Develop automated tests for complex UI workflows and critical user journeys.
- Validate application UI across multiple devices and OS versions.
- Identify and report visual regressions and functional defects.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure application quality.
- Mentor other QA engineers and contribute to process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Espresso for Android and XCUITest for iOS.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining automated mobile UI test frameworks.
- Familiarity with testing dynamic UI content and complex workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
