Your Role:
- Own the Companion App technical roadmap and platform evolution strategy, maintaining alignment with product vision and enterprise architecture.
- Lead technical transition activities, ensuring smooth insourcing processes and governance.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for iOS and Android applications, focusing on quality, performance, and security.
- Oversee mobile security practices and implement best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Build and mentor the internal mobile engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate on architectural decisions to ensure platform sustainability and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Coordinate technical planning and resolve complex delivery issues.
Your Profile:
- 8-12 years in software engineering, with 3-5 years in a Technical Lead or Engineering Lead role, focusing on mobile product development for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
- Proficient in backend and cloud technologies, including REST APIs, microservices, and experience with Azure or AWS.
- Strong background in mobile security and platform governance, with experience managing transitions and migrations.
- Proven leadership abilities, with skills in mentoring and community-building.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in the automotive, connected vehicle, or IoT sectors is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
