Mobile Satellite Portfolio Manager

The role holder is responsible for managing Mobile Satellite Portfolio Management through effective plans and directions from management. This includes contributing to the development of the organization strategy and overall corporate decision-making processes along with other members of the Executive Team. The individual will direct and manage Mobile Satellite Portfolio Management mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high-performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Gather input from Commercial Strategy and identify Satellite product requirements.
• Coordinate with Commercial Strategy to ensure customer needs are translated into clear product needs.
• Develop and maintain a Satellite product portfolio of packages in alignment with the marketing plan.
• Manage Satellite services’ lifecycle, revenues, and profitability and monitor services pricing.
• Monitor Satellite services and Add-ons lifecycle, including sales, retention, and market communication, and conduct regular product deep dives.
• Develop and maintain Satellite services and bundles roadmap and participate in the development of postpaid yearly market plans.
• Determine the optimum commission scheme and sales mix within different channels.

People Management Responsibilities

• Define goals and key performance indicators for team members and ensure effective application of the performance management process.
• Direct planning and selection of manpower in line with business and operational plans.
• Ensure high levels of employee engagement and capability development by providing ongoing feedback and coaching team members.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, mobile satellite services, or related connectivity services.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Technology.
