About the Role
You will be responsible for building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter/Dart and React Native, ensuring that they perform well, are responsive, and provide a polished user experience. Your role includes integrating native device capabilities such as the camera, biometrics, secure storage, push notifications, deep linking, and third-party SDKs for functionalities like payments and identity verification. You will also develop and consume TypeScript/Node (Express) backend services and REST APIs that underpin these applications, including server-driven and dynamic UI content.
You will work within a structured Git workflow, participate in code reviews, and write well-documented, maintainable, and reusable code. Additionally, you will support the app build and release process across both iOS and Android platforms and troubleshoot and debug issues across mobile and backend layers. Your expertise will help determine the most suitable framework for each project and allow you to prototype accordingly.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter/Dart and React Native
- Integrate native device capabilities: camera, biometrics, secure storage, push notifications, deep linking, and third-party SDKs
- Build and consume TypeScript/Node (Express) backend services and REST APIs
- Work within a structured Git workflow (issue → branch → pull request → review)
- Participate in code reviews: giving and receiving feedback on code
- Write well-documented, maintainable, reusable code
- Support the app build and release process across iOS and Android
- Troubleshoot and debug across both mobile and backend layers
- Help choose the right framework per project (Flutter vs React Native vs native) and prototype as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building and shipping cross-platform mobile applications
- Hands-on production experience in both Flutter/Dart and React Native, or strong expertise in one with demonstrable ability in the other
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) and Dart
- Solid understanding of state-management patterns in both Flutter and React Native ecosystems
- Comfortable with native platform concerns such as permissions, lifecycle management, device APIs, and third-party SDK integration
- Experience in consuming and building REST APIs
- Familiarity with Git and pull-request based collaboration workflows
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Ability to write clean, modular, reusable code and adapt to existing codebases
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
