We are seeking an experienced MPLS Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco IOSXR and IOSXE platforms. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, configuration, upgrade, and troubleshooting of MPLS networks for the KAFD project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform software upgrades and hardware verification for Cisco NCS5K platforms running IOSXR 64-Bit.
- Configure and troubleshoot IOSXR protocols, including OSPF, ISIS, MP-BGP, BFD, MPLS LDP, Segment Routing, PIM, L3VPN, L2VPN, HSRP, RPL, and MGMT.
- Troubleshoot IOSXE Catalyst switches, focusing on STP, ARP, and Port-channels.
- Provide advanced network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth deployment and stability of MPLS infrastructure.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in service provider networks, with a proven track record in executing complex migrations.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certification:
- CCIE Service Provider certification is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with IOSXR 64-Bit platform software upgrade and hardware verification for NCS5K platforms.
- Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting various IOSXR protocols.
- Expertise in troubleshooting IOSXE Catalyst switches.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
