MQ and Websphere Administrator

The company is seeking a MQ and Websphere Administrator to join our team. As a technology service provider, we deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

WebSphere Application Server (Primary Focus):

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments.
• Manage IBM HTTP Server (IHS) and associated middleware infrastructure.
• Deploy and support Java EE applications across development, test, and production environments.

IBM MQ Administration (Secondary Focus):

• Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ queue managers, channels, listeners, and MQ objects.
• Manage distributed queue management and MQ clustering environments.
• Monitor queue activity, message flow, queue depth, and overall system performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server environments.
• Strong experience with WAS v9.0.5.x, preferably v9.0.5.17 or later.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Java EE deployment
  • JDBC
  • JMS
  • JNDI
  • JVM tuning
  • Clustering and load balancing
  • Production support and performance optimization
