MS Purview Developer

We are currently looking for an MS Purview Developer for our UAE operations with a focus on designing and implementing Microsoft Purview solutions. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience and will be responsible for configuring enterprise data cataloging, metadata management, scanning, classification, sensitivity labels, glossary, data quality, and stewardship concepts.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mapping technical pipelines to business lineage
• Optimizing metadata capture from real-world pipelines, beyond just auto-scan
• Implementing PII detection, RBAC, and data access/compliance policies to support governance workflows and regulatory compliance (PII, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Supporting impact analysis and data discovery for business users
• Collaborating with data engineers, architects, security, and compliance teams on audit, regulatory, and risk management initiatives
• Applying data quality and stewardship concepts to enhance project outcomes.

It is also advantageous to have experience integrating Purview with Microsoft Fabric for governed self-service analytics, enabling end-to-end data lineage across various platforms such as Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, Synapse, SQL, ADLS, and Power BI.
