About the Role
In this position, you will troubleshoot and repair technical problems or issues related to computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Your responsibilities will include responding to program error messages, providing technical guidance to resolve business problems, and referring major hardware/software issues to vendors or technicians for service. Additionally, you will maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripherals such as printers and scanners.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware and peripheral equipment issues.
- Respond to program error messages by diagnosing problems or terminating programs.
- Offer technical guidance and recommendations to solve business-related problems.
- Refer significant hardware/software issues or defective products to vendors or technicians.
- Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, including peripheral devices and website technical architecture.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately to a manager or supervisor.
- Identify unsafe work procedures or conditions; report them to management and security/safety personnel.
- Follow specific procedures for handling emergency situations such as evacuations or medical emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with other employees to exchange information.
- Use electronic devices (e.g., pagers, two-way radios, email) to share information.
- Read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point of sale systems.
- Perform physical tasks including reaching overhead, bending, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Complete other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
