Murex Back Office BA

The Murex Back Office Consultant will join the GM IT Operations Squad, tasked with providing IT services to the Global Markets Operations team. The squad's responsibilities include support, change requests, and projects related to Global Markets Operations. The key responsibilities for this role involve:

• Engaging with business stakeholders to conduct analysis and gather requirements.
• Developing functional specifications and collaborating with IT teams and vendors.
• Defining systems and data requirements and validating system designs from both functional and technical perspectives.
• Configuring solutions based on business needs and acting as a subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools.
• Creating test plans and test cases, executing system testing, and contributing to user training activities.
• Following up with vendor support to resolve any issues and ensuring the technical and functional handover of projects to relevant teams.
• Assisting in the development of business and operational processes, including system training materials when required.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7-9 years of working experience, with at least 5 years focused on Murex Operations with strong technical knowledge of back-office workflows.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in banking or an IT company, particularly with implementation and support of Murex v3.1.
• Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, with a strong understanding of financial markets, trading, and banking solutions.
• Familiarity with Murex operations processes and configuration of various Murex functionalities, including exposure to asset classes like Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, and others.
• Strong numerical skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
