Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document user requirements, transposing them into functional specifications.
- Serve as a key liaison with Global Markets Operation teams (both business and their supporting functions), IT teams, and vendors.
- Engage actively with the business to understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
- Define systems and data requirements, validating the systems design and processes from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements in support of the project, working alongside the vendor when needed.
- Configure the solution as per requirements and act as the subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools used within Operations.
- Create test plans and test cases, executing system testing.
- Contribute to user training through one-on-one discussions, preparation of training guides, and presentations.
- Follow up with vendor support as necessary to resolve bugs/issues.
- Ensure proper technical and functional handover of the project and changes to relevant teams.
- Assist in developing business and operational processes and participate in developing system training artifacts as needed.
Skills Required:
- 7-9 years of working experience in relevant fields.
- Minimum 5 years as a Murex Operations SME with technical knowledge of back-office workflow, MXML development, and hands-on configuration experience.
- Relevant experience in a Banking project or IT Company.
- Experience in implementing and supporting Murex v3.1 regarding back-office capabilities.
- Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes (front to back).
- Strong understanding of financial markets, trading, and banking solutions.
- Good exposure to Murex Static data and Operations processes.
- Understanding of SWIFT messages configuration.
- Excellent knowledge of Murex datamart module.
- Familiarity with various asset classes (e.g., Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, etc.)
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to deliver under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
