Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document user requirements and transpose them into functional specifications.
- Act as the key liaison with Global Markets Operation teams, IT teams, and vendors.
- Engage with the business to understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
- Define system and data requirements and validate system design and processes from functional and technical perspectives.
- Develop and refine business, functional, and testing requirements, working alongside vendors as needed.
- Configure the solution according to requirements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools used within Operations.
- Create test plans, test cases, and conduct system testing.
- Contribute to user training activities, including preparation of training guides and presentations.
- Follow up with vendor support to address bugs/issues.
- Assist in the technical and functional handover of projects and changes to relevant teams.
- Develop business and operational processes and participate in creating system training artifacts as required.
Mandatory Skills:
- 7-9 years of total working experience.
- Minimum of 5 years as a Murex Operations expert with hands-on experience in back-office workflow (contracts, events, deliverables, exchanges), MXML development, and configuration.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a banking project or IT company.
- Experience in implementing and supporting Murex v3.1 related to back-office capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, with a comprehensive understanding of financial markets, trading, and banking solutions.
- Familiarity with Murex static data, operations processes, and swift messages configuration.
- Knowledge across various asset classes, including Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, and more.
- Proficient in liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, and testing processes.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
