Project Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and configuring solutions in Murex, building reports for report-based interfaces, managing requirements from inception to delivery, and collaborating with both the test and developer teams to ensure project success. Additionally, the role involves providing specialist markets technology solutions to simplify existing architecture and automate current processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and configure Murex solutions.
- Configure and build Murex Reports for report-based interfaces.
- Develop custom tasks in MxML Exchange.
- Manage requirements from acceptance to delivery within the Murex platform, including training for production support.
- Collaborate with testing teams on cases and coverage, analyze defects, and provide Murex configuration advice.
- Work closely with the development team to advise on workflow enhancements.
- Engage with business stakeholders regarding specific processing needs not supported by the standard task library.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5-8 years of experience in Murex MXML and back office domain.
- Strong understanding of Murex architecture and post-trade workflows.
- Experience in developing workflows for structured products, including confirmations and settlements.
- Proficiency in MxML Exchange module and its interfaces in MX.3.
- Knowledge of data dictionary formula development and integration with standard external systems using XML and XSLT.
- Familiarity with Back Office modules such as SWIFT message generation and payment processing.
- Good knowledge of Shell scripts and SQL.
- In-depth understanding of various asset classes, including FX, FI, MM, and Derivatives.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Essential business or product knowledge, particularly in Collateral Management.
