A large bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Murex BO Developer for their Murex Greenfield implementation project. This role requires considerable business or product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure the proposed solution in Murex.
  • Configure and build Murex Reports for report-based interfaces.
  • Build custom tasks in MxML Exchange.
  • Manage requirements through to acceptance and delivery into the Murex platform, including training for production support.
  • Collaborate closely with the test team to review cases and coverage, analyze defects, and provide Murex Configuration advice.
  • Work with the Developer team to advise on the workflow.
  • Provide specialist markets technology solutions to assist in simplifying the existing architecture and automating current processes.
  • Discuss the results with Business stakeholders for specific processing not available through the standard task library.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Murex MXML and back office domain.
  • Good understanding of Murex architecture and post-trade workflows.
  • Strong working experience in developing post-trade, confirmation, and settlement workflows on structured products.
  • Good knowledge of MxML Exchange module (interfaces) in MX.3.
  • Experience in developing data dictionary formulas.
  • Experience integrating standard external systems with Murex XML and XSLT.
  • Experience in Back Office modules such as SWIFT Message generation (MT300, MT305, MT540, MT202, MT103), payment processing, fixing, and settlement accounting.
  • Good knowledge of Shell scripts and SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of various asset classes, including FX, FI, MM, and Derivatives.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Business or product knowledge is essential for this role, specifically in Collateral Management.
