Murex Environment Manager

A large bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Murex Production Support Consultant for environment end-of-day (EOD) and market risk activities. This role involves technical production support for EOD and risk management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the EOD process using Control-M tool and resolve issues, ensuring all jobs in the batch complete on time.
• Provide Level 2 support for all EOD issues and ensure repeated issues are resolved via problem management.
• Perform EOD tasks, including job creation, testing, and troubleshooting failures related to EOD processes.
• Conduct pre-EOD checks and monitor critical EOD jobs.
• Resolve issues such as DataMart feeder failures, market data issues, and accounting EOD failures, escalating to infrastructure teams as needed.
• Log and report all issues in batches, manage vendor deliveries related to market risk, and ensure quality during technical deployments.
• Assist users with application access and best practices for SIT and UAT testing.
• Monitor overall EOD performance, perform sanity checks in Murex UI, and handle ad hoc operational requests.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in Murex environment management.
• Proficient in Murex EOD architecture, key services, and end-to-end processes.
• Strong understanding of Murex log structure, Datamart Dynamic tables, and batch configuration.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys) and database fundamentals (SQL, indexing).
• Experience with Murex Market Risk is essential.

Language Requirements: English proficiency is expected as part of operational support and communication.
