Murex Environment Manager (EOD+Market Risk)

A large bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Murex production support consultant for environment end-of-day (EOD) and market risk activities. This position involves technical production support relating to EOD and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the EOD process using automated Control-M tools and resolve related issues, ensuring timely completion of all batch jobs.
• Provide Level 2 support for EOD issues, ensuring repetitive issues are addressed through problem management.
• Perform EOD tasks including creating jobs, conducting test runs, and testing EOD workflows.
• Troubleshoot any EOD failures, user/trader problems, and infrastructure issues.
• Conduct pre-EOD checks and monitor significant EOD jobs.
• Resolve EOD-related issues, including DataMart feeder failures and accounting failures, and escalate to infrastructure teams as needed.
• Log and report all batch issues, manage market risk vendor deliveries, and coordinate with vendors for bug tracking and fixes.
• Support users during SIT and UAT, providing best practices and securing necessary sign-offs.
• Monitor and tune overall EOD performance, and perform sanity checks within the Murex UI.

Mandatory Skills:

• 8 to 12 years of total experience, with 8-10 years specifically in Murex environment management.
• Proficient understanding of Murex EOD architecture and processes.
• Familiarity with Murex log structure and data feed configuration.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools like Control M and Autosys, as well as database fundamentals including SQL.
• Experience in Murex Market risk.
