Murex Environment Manager (Relocation Friendly)

A large bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Murex Environment Manager for a Murex greenfield implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including supporting Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Variation, CVA, and MLC batches. The role involves assisting with procedures for various modules, debugging issues, and collaborating with the service delivery team on the design and implementation of new batches to meet evolving requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Configuring processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures
• Performing and monitoring daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting and Market Data
• Handling ad hoc operational requests such as report generation and file transfers
• Liaising with vendors to troubleshoot EOD issues
• Monitoring and tuning the performance of overall EOD processes
• Performing sanity checks in Murex UI, including workflows and real-time data
• Collaborating with DBAs to address performance issues impacting EOD batches
• Analyzing application and infrastructure vulnerabilities and remediating them
• Managing Murex environments hosted on Cloud (AWS)

To qualify for this position, candidates should have 10+ years of experience in Murex Environment Management, proficiency with Murex EOD architecture, and a strong understanding of Murex log structure and artefact locations. Experience with Datamart Dynamic tables, feeders, and batch configuration is also required, along with familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control M and Autosys. Candidates must be proficient in debugging bash, ant, Python/Perl scripts on LINUX (RHEL), and possess knowledge of database fundamentals including query plans, SQL, and indexing. Proficiency in English (C1 Advanced) is necessary.
