A large bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Murex Environment Manager for a Murex greenfield implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA, and MLC batches.
  • Assist with procedures for various modules and troubleshooting related issues.
  • Collaborate with the service delivery team to design and implement new batches based on requirements.
  • Configure processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures.
  • Perform and monitor daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting and Market Data.
  • Handle ad hoc operational requests including generating reports and file transfers.
  • Liaise with vendors to run diagnostics and troubleshoot End of Day (EOD) issues.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of overall EOD processes.
  • Conduct sanity checks in Murex UI, including workflows and real-time data.
  • Work with DBAs to resolve performance issues affecting EOD batches.
  • Extract Murex report batches and share them with users.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities raised on application and infrastructure and implement remediation measures.
  • Manage Murex Environments hosted on Cloud (AWS).

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in Murex Environment Management.
  • Proficiency in Murex EOD architecture, key services, and end-to-end process.
  • Strong understanding of Murex log structure and artefact locations.
  • Experience with Datamart dynamic tables, feeders, batch configurations, scanner templates, and processing script definitions.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control M and Autosys.
  • Understanding and debugging capabilities in bash, ant, and Python/Perl scripts on LINUX RHEL.
  • Knowledge of database fundamentals including query planning, SQL, and indexing.
