Murex FO Migration Functional BA

A large bank in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Front Office migration functional lead for its Murex greenfield implementation project. The Murex FO Migration Functional BA will support the migration and upgrade of Front Office trading, pricing, and risk functionalities within the Murex platform, including transitioning from older versions of Murex or legacy trading systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support migration/upgrade of Front Office functionalities within Murex (e.g., migrating from MX.3 v2.x to v3.1).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate migration and validation of trade capture, pricing, and market risk functionalities.
• Validate P&L, sensitivities (Greeks), and risk figures pre- and post-migration with Front Office users.
• Leverage extensive experience in Murex workflow, including trade life cycle, interface creation, confirmation generation, error management, and OSP.
• Assist in data migration activities: trade and static data migration, reconciliation of legacy and Murex positions, trade mapping.
• Propose enhancements to existing solutions based on analytical and technical expertise.
• Coordinate cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-go-live support.

Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of overall experience in Murex, with 5 to 7 years focused on migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial products including IRD, FXD, bonds, repos, commodities, and equities.
• Hands-on experience with Murex (MX.2 or MX.3), including configuration, workflows, and functional modules (FO/MO/BO, Risk, Collateral, Confirmations, Accounting, Payments).
• Experience in at least one full-cycle Murex implementation or migration project.
• Familiarity with data migration/reconciliation methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with SQL, Murex Datamart, or reporting tools is a plus.
