Position

The Murex FO Support Analyst will be part of the GM IT FO Squad, responsible for providing IT services to the Global Markets team. This squad manages support, change requests, and projects related to Global Markets. Key responsibilities include providing level 1 and level 2 trading floor support to traders and control groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Support traders and middle office users on daily issues such as P&L/position mismatches, market data, and market operations.
  • Configure curves (interest rate, credit) and static data in Murex, including securities, indices, and user groups.
  • Write pre-trade rules and manage lookup tables, simulation views, and trade strategies.
  • Conduct testing for patch and version upgrades to prevent issues and regressions.
  • Report on issue progress to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing operational processes and create training materials as needed.

Skills Required:

Must Have:

  • 7-10 years of experience in Murex Front Office support.
  • Extensive experience with Interest Rate curves and multiple asset classes (IR derivatives, Equity, FX, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of FO Modules in Murex, including E-Tradepad and Livebook.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Murex v3.1 with front office capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of Capital Markets products and processes.

Nice to Have:

  • Postgraduate degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in a bank or IT company.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and trading operations.
  • Proficient in liaising with stakeholders for documentation and testing processes.
