About the Job: The Murex Front Office Consultant will be responsible for product implementation within the GM IT FO Squad, which provides IT services to the Global Markets team. This role will involve supporting, initiating change requests, and managing projects related to Global Markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document user requirements, transposing them into functional specifications.
  • Act as a key liaison between Global Markets teams (both business and supporting functions), IT teams, and vendors.
  • Participate in discussions to understand business needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
  • Define system and data requirements; validate system design and processes from both functional and technical aspects.
  • Develop and refine various business, functional, and testing requirements, working with vendors as necessary.
  • Configure solutions according to requirements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Murex suite of tools used in the Front Office, ensuring optimal use of product functionality.
  • Create test plans and test cases, and execute system testing.
  • Contribute to user training through discussions, guides, and presentations.
  • Follow up with vendor support to resolve any bugs or issues encountered.
  • Ensure technical and functional handover of projects and changes to relevant teams.
  • Assist in developing business and operational processes, as well as system training artifacts as required.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Murex Front Office.
  • Expertise in multiple asset classes (at least 2 of the following): IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Structured Derivatives.
  • Experience in leading and delivering projects.
  • Experience in the implementation and support of Murex v3.1 concerning front office capabilities.
  • Knowledge of both linear and non-linear products in Murex.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside excellent communication abilities.
  • Significant exposure to FO Modules of Murex, such as E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, and Risk Matrices.
  • Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, from front to back.
